BCCI and IPL organizers should have the realized that the elections would be in April-May and they should not have scheduled IPL then. Instead of realizing their mistake this unprofessionally organized group of money hoggers are now blaming the GOI for not providing security. We should boycott the IPL as only then will they realize that by just hosting a cricket tournament on the assumption that the public will go see it (no matter what) is not enough to make money. Now they are trying to manipulate public opinion by blaming the government and dragging politics in this. They do not realize the implications of this to India's reputation to host international events especially with attempts by the various terrorist organizations and ISI to portrayIndia to be as unsafe as other dangerous regions in South Asia. This event shows their lack of planning, short-sightedness and more disturbingly ignoring national strategic challenges before their greed and incompetence!
